LET'S SEE MUNICH, SALZBURG, & VIENNA
About Us
GUTEN TAG!

Welcome to my travel dreams turned reality on the Rick Steves' Munich, Salzburg, Vienna Tour. First an introduction, my name is Pat and my husband is Pete. I am an Optometrist (thus the Eye references) and my husband is a video technician from the Chicago area. This was our second Rick Steves' Tour as we took the Heart of Italy Tour in 2019. After that the Pandemic halted European Travel and our momentum, but we continued to dream and signed up as soon as we could to get back overseas.
I consider myself somewhat of a Ric Nic listening to Rick Steve's Podcasts, watching his PBS television show, and trying to get an autograph when Rick is in town for Travel Shows. I should have backpacked Europe when I was in college, but alas as I approach retirement now is my chance to see the World. Follow us as we experience Europe with Rick Steve flare, but also with some crazy pre and post tour stops caused by the airline's crazy sense of adventure. Enjoy our Scrapbook!

MUNICH, SALZBURG, VIENNA - 8 DAYS
As per Rick: Let's go where classical music, towering castles, and the-hills-are-alive scenery welcome you to the gemütlichkeit of Bavaria and opulence of Austria's Golden Age. On this tour of Germany and Austria, your Rick Steves guide will bring this region's rich history and culture to life in festive Munich, Baroque Salzburg, sparkling Lake Hallstatt, monastic Melk, the blue Danube, and royal Vienna — with cozy villages and alpine vistas all along the way.
